Zac Efron Makes a Deal With Warner Brothers

Zac Efron has signed a two-year producing deal with Warner Bros. Pictures. WB plans to buy pitches, spec scrips and books for the actor and his still unformed company to develop as star vehicles. While, his manager, Jason Barrett from Alchemy Entertainment, will be an executive producer on the upcoming projects.

According to Deadline, "Warner Bros is determined to find him a franchise. Which begs the question whther he'll be the next DC Entertainment superhero, or Bourne-like action thriller leading man, or buddy comedy co-star, or all, or none."

Hundreds of screaming fans invaded the beach to watch zac Efron, wore a red Oakley wetsuit, turned up for Oakley's Learn to Ride surf session event held at Sydney's Bondi Beach in Australia on Tuesday morning, February 16. The 22-year-old on Tuesday joined pro-surfer Layne Beachley, Tom Whitaker, Sam Page, Maude Garrett, Nikki Phillips and James Tobin.

In related news, Zac has dished to 2Day FM's "Kyle and Jackie O Show" that he still wants the role of Spiderman. He shared, "To be honest that would be a dream come true. I haven't heard anything but of course any young actor would love to fill those shoes and they are big shoes to fill."
