Fans were shocked when Zac Efron and girlfriend Vanessa Hudgens split a few months ago. Dating on and off, the couple have been romantically linked to other Hollywood starlets. In a new interview, Vanessa Hudgens credits ex boyfriend Zac Efron with helping her handle fame and keeping her straight and focused.
Now that she's single again, what type of guy does Vanessa Hudgens want to date? Our Sagittarius girl recently told New York Daily news, she wants a boyfriend who is true to themselves. Don't forget loyal and honest. Does that mean Zac Efron wasn't? He's Libra, which makes him a chick magnet but is a true romantic at heart. Vanessa better watch out, she has some competition with iCarly star, Miranda Cosgrove.
Miranda Cosgrove appeared on Ellen and told the talk show host that Zac Efron and Shia LaBeouf are her dream dates. With a Michael Cera personality. Wow, that’s quite a combination. Born under the astrology star sign of Taurus, Miranda would be a nice match for Zac Efron, plus she has the exotic brunette look he loves but she's a little too young. Too bad Justin Bieber is already taken.
For Zac Efron, this year will be about lessons in love. He may not be ready for marriage but Vanessa Hudgens will definitely always have a place in his heart. Every future girlfriend would be compared to her. Hopefully these two can work it out. If they do, Astrochicks predicts an engagement in 2012. Stay tuned.

"iCarly" star and high school senior Miranda Cosgrove has her mind on those usual things: college and boys. And while she's got the college part taken care of -- applications are in, she's just waiting to here from her Top 2, USC and NYU -- on Wednesday (March 9) she turns to Ellen DeGeneres to help with the other.
Buttering her host up with the compliment that she knows "a lot of great people," the young actress says she's open to being set up.
"What kind of guy? Shia LaBeouf and Zac Efron put together," Cosgrove says when asked what kind of guy she's looking for. "With a Michael Cera personality."
"I like to set people up. I'll be thinking," DeGeneres promises. "The next time somebody's here, I'll mention you and we'll see what happens."

Vanessa's ex-boyfriend helped her survive young stardom - can she transition into adulthood without her man?
Vanessa Hudgens broke up with her longtime boyfriend Zac Efron in Dec. 2010, but admits in a new interview that much of her personal success is a result of his strength!
Although Vanessa, 22, says she's just "friends" with Zac, it is obvious from her March 3 interview with USA Today that Zac, 23, helped guide her through the perils of Hollywood.
"A lot of people may get lost in the lights and glamour of it all. It should be about the work first and everything else later," Vanessa says. She credits her family to keeping her grounded, but even more important was the support of her High School Musical castmates.
"I also had (HSM co-stars) to grow with, like Ashley (Tisdale) and Zac. We all went on this journey together and had each other to fall back on. You've got to have your friends to keep your head on straight," she says.
As Vanessa gets a higher profile with huge spring movies such as Beastly and Sucker Punch, will she be able to stay grounded without the support of her man?

The National Enquirer is bringing it today. First with leaked photos of Whitney Houston's daughter doing coke and now with allegations that Zac Efron came out of the closet during an NBA party at the W Hotel. The Enquirer claims Zac and a "buff young man" were openly flirting at the industry party and at one point even holding hands. Not only that but Vanessa Hudgens was there and she didn't even care.
"'I was shocked at how relaxed and open Zac was with this guy,' continued the fellow partygoer. 'He walked around talking to him, smiling and holding his hand right in front of everyone, including Vanessa. People were wondering if maybe it was a stunt to make Vanessa jealous. But truthfully, Zac really seemed into the guy.'"
And if Vanessa minded, she certainly didn't let on. She and Zac exchanged a warm greeting, and then she spent the remainder of the evening with her girlfriends, while Zac kept his attention on his male friend.
"It was bizarre," added the eyewitness. Zac has long been the target of Internet speculation about his sexuality – and Zac has always laughed off the rumors.
"That night at the party, Zac and Vanessa clearly weren't together," added the eyewitness. "But they still seem like friends."
The only way anyone believes what the Enquirer publishes is if they publish photos to go along with it. This is just rumor and conjecture for now. But if you really want the truth, go up to Zac and start yelling at him "gay gay gay gay gay gay" over and over again. Not sure what that will prove, but it's worth a shot. To be honest. I haven't thought this through.

HollywoodNews.com: Apparently Zac Efron is friends with Kelsey Grammer and Kayte Walsh as he was reportedly in attendance at their wedding reception.
Efron was allegedly one of the many guests at the reception, but apparently tried to keep his appearance there low-key, states HollywoodLife.
Other guests were reportedly excited to see Efron, who is currently filming 'New Years Eve' in New York.
